Icosahedra with facial connection are arranged along the edges of a rhombic dodecahedron. The connection is not interferred with when each of the icosahedra are truncated. The truncated icosahedra (soccer balls, Buckyballs) are connected with their hexagonal faces.
Ikosaéderek csatlakoznak lapjaikkal egy rombikus dodekaéder élei mentén. A csatlakozás megmarad az ikozaéder lapok csonkításakor. A kialakuló csonkított ikozaéderek (foci labda, Buckyball) a hatszögű lapjaikkal csatlakoznak egymáshoz.
